The store name evolved from my close-knit group of friends. We all met later in life & actually started out as a birthday group (getting together to celebrate each of our birthdays).

​One of the ladies in the group was diagnosed with breast cancer and as she reflected back on our time together as friends, she decided to name our group "The Iron Roses". This name in particular first because of everything we went through as a group with our marriages, kids, friends made our bond strong and secondly because of the beauty and strength of a rose
